SecuRam system safe locks are one of the new generation of High Security digital electronic Safe Locks often installed on gun safes. We show you how to open the original combination and how to change the combo & battery. Hi my name is Bo Peterson with Dean Safe company. Today I am going to show you how to use the SecuRam electronic lock, that now comes on the Patriot series from Cannon Safe Company.
I am going to show you how to open the safe, using the electronic lock, how to change the battery, and how to change the combination. His lock is very easy to use. It is set to 1-2-3-4-5-6 right now. I'll show you how to do that. You simply press 1-2-3-4-5-6, wait a second, and turn the handle. Now I am going to show you how to change the combination on the SecuRam electronic lock.

If you remember nothing else from this video, you always want to change your combination with the door open and the bolts extended. Bolts are out, door open. Let me show you how to change the combination on the SecuRam electronic lock. You simply put in six zeros (0-0-0-0-0-0), the existing six digit combination, which is 1-2-3-4-5-6, and a new six digit combination twice. We are going to use 6-5-4-3-2-1, that's one time, re-enter it the second time, 6-5-4-3-2-1. That combination is now set. The reason why we always do it with the door open and the bolts out is because we can test it now.
You always want to test it, 6-5-4-3-2-1, and you turn the handle. If the bolts go in, you have done it properly. Now I want to show you how to change the nine volt battery, on your SecuRam electronic lock. You simply grab the bottom of the lock, not pulling it out, but pushing it straight up, you will hear a click and you simply turn it over and the nine volt battery is right behind there. When you replace the nine volt battery, you will not lose your combination, your existing combination, it is simply just changing the battery.
To re-install the keypad, you simply repeat the process. Put it back on, and push down, it is locked into place. You now see why Cannon Safe Company only puts electronic locks on their safes. They are so simple to use, you can change your own combination, replace the batteries, all without needing a locksmith to come out.

. 1140 Answers SOURCE: Hello there, The instructions for the electronic lock can be downloaded from here: You should be able to open the safe using the master/over-ride key.
The lock is hidden behind a removable plastic cover between the keypad and the handle. Please download the instructions then let me know if you need further assistance by clicking on ' Add a Comment' below your question. You will need to have Adobe Reader installed on your PC to open the instructions: If you don't have the master key or you've locked it inside the safe (never do this!), you will probably need to contact Bull Safes / Blue Air Inc. On 1-310-808-3102 for a replacement key. You will need to provide proof of purchase.
Hope this helps. Regards, BElectric Posted on Mar 20, 2011.
Try this, NOTE: The safe needs to be upright and right side up or the locking mechanism won't work. ELECTRONIC SAFES To open an electronic safe the first time, press the following numbers/letters on the electronic keypad -159B. (These numbers are preset. You should change the code as soon as possible after opening the safe to insure proper security). After you have entered the factory set code, you will need to turn the knob on the faceplate to open the door.
You will have 5 seconds to turn the knob before the locking mechanism is reactivated. ENTERING YOUR SECURITY CODE To enter your own security code you will need to follow the steps listed below: 1. After opening the electronic safe (with the pre -set factory code of 159B) locate the small red button on the inside of the door near the hinge.
Press the red button and then release it, you will hear a beep. DO NOT SHUT THE DOOR UNTIL YOU HAVE CONFIRMED THAT YOUR NEW SECURITY CODE HAS BEEN ENTERED CORRECTLY.
With the door open, enter your own personal security code, which can be 3- 8 digits long, and confirm your new code by pressing the letter 'B' on the electronic touch pad. Before you close the door, try the new security code to make sure the lock release the knob so you can turn it and retract the live action locking bolts. Good luck Thanks Apr 29, 2011.
